Available in a variety of shapes and colors, Interlocking Concrete Pavers can be combined to create designs that enhance entrances, driveways or sidewalks while adding value. Because pavers are stronger and more durable than concrete and asphalt, they require no maintenance when properly installed.

The concept of interlocking pavers date back to the Roman empire. They were constructed with tight fitted units set on compacted aggregate base.

The modern version, concrete pavers, is manufactured in a wide array of colours, shapes and  textures.

Technocrete pavers are designed to endure all weather types. These only need basic maintenance to stand the test of time.

Technocrete sells complete paver packages in different sizes and patterns. Pavers packages come with appropriate technical support. Contact our sales office.

TehcnoCrete has many resources to assist design professionals in designing and specifying segmental concrete paving, including interlocking concrete pavements, permeable interlocking concrete pavements, grid pavers, and concrete paving slabs

The use of concrete pavers is growing rapidly on both commercial and residential construction projects. Pavers interlock together to form a patterned surface which can be put into service immediately. Pavers are manufactured in various textures and colors. A big benefit of pavers is that they can be removed and re-installed, which reduces future service interruptions. They can be often used in the following applications:
  • All types of walkways
  • patios
  • driveways
  • project entrances
  • Playgrounds
  • pool decks
  • entrance to corporate offices
  • around fountains

The popularity of pavers is expanding rapidly in world. There is plenty of growth to go. Insiders in the pavers business say the market is on fire and poised to continue growing as the benefits of pavers become more well known

Thickness of concrete pavers varies according to whether they are for: [1] Pedestrian areas, driveways and areas subject to limited vehicular use or [2] Streets and industrial pavements.

The minimum thickness in the first case is 6 CM, while it is no less than 8CM in the second case.

Maintaining the highest standards:
Techno|Crete pavers meet or exceed the Egyptian Standard Specifications, that happen to be comparable to the requirements established by the American Society for Testing and Materials C 936, Standard Specifications for Solid Interlocking Concrete Paving Units.

Using high quality ingredients and automated processes enables Techno|Crete to keep a leadership position.

Designers choose paver styles to harmonize with the surrounding area. Two colors of pavers can be combined to provide interest in large areas. Pavers also come in blended colors to add interest.

Pavers are similar to other colored concrete, or brick products: shade variations may occur. This can result from slight variations in dye lots and the raw materials used.

Pavers can be selected to complement the stone or facade on the building. Oftentimes, pavers one or two shades lighter than the structure are selected so as not to compete for attention with the structure.

Pavers can have different textures. When different textures are combined it adds interest.

Avoid long straight rows of pavers. If straight runs are required, lay the edge pavers parallel to the edge of the path and use a basket weave pattern in the interior.

Concrete pavers come in a literally endless number of styles. Pavers are often manufactured and supplied on a regional basis, however the same paver is available for shipping to all regions in the country and internationally.

The same project can use two or more different colors of concrete pavers. Shapes can be combined to produce artistic and unique final designs.
