The great entity of the OSMAN GROUP was founded in 1940 by the initiative of its Chairman Mr. Osman A Osman.

What started as a small contracting & engineering business firm is now the biggest contracting company in the mid-east. The Arab Contractors, Osman Ahmed Osman & Co.

Faith in God, honesty, enthusiasm, dedication and hard work led to the expansion of business and paved the way to founding a group of industrial, agricultural, contracting, commercial and general engineering companies that are privately owned by the Osman family.

The road to success is not easy as we enter the third millennium. We have to be ready for competition with adequate planning, science and transfer of technology to cope with all expected developments. The Boss as the late Mr. Osman liked to be called; bravely took over sever challenges that he faced thru his life.

The Osman Group [Osman A Osman Companies] is one of the leading private enterprise groups operating actively in Egypt and abroad. It is owned by members of the Osman Family and was formally founded in 1974.

The Group has its main headquarters located in one of the most prestigious locations in Cairo with several factories, offices, and branches in Egypt, Arab countries, and Internationally in Europe and USA.

The Osman Ahmed Osman & Co. was established in 1940 by its founders Mr. Osman Ahmed Osman and his brothers.

The company started activities in engineering and general contracting. It was entrusted with an expanding volume of work that led to the formation of the Industrial & General Enterprises Company [Osman A Osman & Co].

In the early sixties; The Arab Contractors was nationalized keeping the name of Osman A. Osman & Co. It remained under the chairmanship of Mr. Osman until his appointment as Minister of Housing and Reconstruction in 1973.

His brother; Mr. Hussein Ahmed Osman took over company chairmanship and its continued growth. Reaching over one billing US Dollars in turnover and employing 56,000 full time employees.

In 1974 the private sector was allowed to resume its activities in Egypt after a stand-still phase due to the early sixties nationalization processes. This led to the formation of 3 private sector groups carrying the name of Mr. Osman.

Arab Contractors Company [Osman A. Osman & Co.] and its associates are privately owned entities where the Arab Contractors have invested in their capital.

The Osman Group was founded in the early seventies and is considered to be one of the largest and best recognized private groups in Egypt.

It is composed of several specialized industrial, contracting, agricultural and general engineering companies with many head offices and branches in Egypt and globally.

In the past few years, the labor force of the Osman Group has surpassed more than 4000 employees.

It is still progressing strongly, expanding new business horizons for the peoples of the region.
